This Michael guy seemed really desperate. I don't think this is ver, and I don't think it will be good for Dane. A pony, really, and three sets of riding gear. That's probably more than my yearly salary. Do people really think that is normal, really! m :)
I obviously don't know how rich people really act...most of the time I don't have two nickels to rub together...lol. I imagine that they are very unimpressed by their money. Especially if they were born into it like David was. If you have more money than you know what to do with, would you really think twice about how much something costs? :-)
I do not know if you have the story fully mapped out or are writing it as you go, but I feel these recent chapters have been amazing. Maybe it is because I am so invested in Matt, David, Zac, Jason, Chris, Zan, and now Dane. Did I forget anyone? :)))
Like I said before, while this story started out as a Brian and Justin meet and fall in love. It has morphed into such a fuller and involving universe. Besides the drama of Matt and David, now we have Dane and his secret love. Interesting, that no matter what universe he is in, Michael is still hiding who he is. I sense heartache in Dane's future.
Maybe it is because these characters are your own creation, but I feel that they are fully formed and interesting people. It is safe to say that I am even on team David right now. I think he is a wonderful addition to this growing world.

Once again, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm thrilled that you are enjoying my characters. I was worried about straying too far from Brian and Justin, but I just want them to be happy for awhile. They will be front burner again one day. As for a mapped out story...not even close. I used to have my stories mapped out a bit in the old days and then usually strayed as time when on, but this story...it all depends on the day. I'm working on chapter 13 right now and I can honestly say that I don't know how it will end. I'll be just as surprised as you...lol
