Souji set his left hand at his hip and listened carefully. He was no stranger to people asking him to find and bring random objects, but the thought of repeating some of the same actions from the past year left a slightly sour taste in his mouth. Still, a hospital was an important thing to have in working order.
He grinned even wider at the responses, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "I'm glad to hear that! We really appreciate your help. It's been hard getting anything done with just a few of us here." His smile turned sheepish at that, as he shrugged slightly.
Ligeia turned his eyes to the boy, brows furrowing in thought. "I don't know how it got there or who found it, but you can use it to talk to other people? Even if they're not right next to you." Another shrug, as he raised a hand to scratch the back of his head. "I guess."
This boy was just as nervous and slightly fumbly as her was when they last spoke.. Well, at least that was something predictable, then. Alice just nodded during his explanation about the Second Level, eager to get things going already. She didn't quite recognize the other people - and even a dragon, but that didn't matter.
"Perhaps we should start on this thing.. I'd rather have information as soon as I can get it." She had been clueless for too long back home too, after all, and look where that had led her.
Souji nods. "Agreed. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll have some answers." He certainly hopes the information is worth the effort the group will be expending on this venture. "What sort of materials are we looking for?"
A slight twitch of his shoulders, almost as if he were about to shrug yet again, as he shook his head. "Oh, you know, the usual... Building materials. Boards, nails... whatever you... use to cover up holes... Maybe check out the shops?"
"...Colby could know more," he began quietly, speaking almost to himself, before frowning. "...Nah."
It sounds fairly simple, but Souji hasn't exactly done a whole lot of building construction work in his life. He turns to address the rest of the crowd:
"Has anyone here had any sort of experience with construction work? It would help if we knew exactly what to look for."
Kanaya slowly nods, and shrugs openly. "I have, but not without the assistance of carpenter drones or a game construct. I assume that, in a full city, there would be some supply venue available."
"What is the purpose of this ... second level?"

[The dragon sitting nearby flicks his tail, interested. ... He might not be that much help moving material, though.]

[Why would he want to, anyway? 8| ]

"I haven't built anything before, but I am used to hard work, so carrying out tasks would not be much of a problem for me."
