[Souji's out exploring, too. The bridges are a curiosity; after that conversation with Gamzee, he's taken to studying this area in particular, walking back and forth across the bridges and watching other people as they cross over - or don't, as the case may be.

[O ... K, that's a little weird, and a bit unnerving. Souji raises his eyebrows and fights the urge to take a step backward.]

I've been here for a few weeks. I've been searching for answers to questions such as that one, without much luck. It isn't Japan, at least - I'm pretty sure about that.

[He bites back an urge to make an extremely rude comment - it's been years, he doesn't have to make those kinds comments about Japan anymore. Besides, he's a child - he likely wasn't even alive then.]

I guess I hadn't thought much about it, except that it's important to be able to speak with others. [This is a given, and Souji naturally accepts it.]
