[After all the sensory overload hallucinations, Terezi's head really hurts. But she's got to find Inspector Berrybreath and woe betide ANYONE who dares take them.]

[Most people would write that off as a ridiculous statement, but Asato actually looks genuinely worried at the question, pausing before casting a wary glance over his shoulder. His home world is mostly forests, and the forests are infested with large animals, monsters, and demons of all kinds, so he understands 'dragon' well enough to assume that there must be a large, carnivorous reptile on the loose.]

[There is supposedly a legitimate dragon around somewhere, but this time Terezi fails to mention that hers happens to be stuffed.]

Yes and it's mine. He's blue and his name is Inspector Berrybreath.

[He wants to warn her against keeping dragons as pets, but something about the way she carries herself makes him hesitate.]

I wouldn't scavenge something like a dragon!

[But he thinks about it for a second, regardless. He did find the stuffed dragon in question, and was going to gut it to use the stuffing for his nest, but it had such a cute face and such a squishy round tummy he couldn't bring himself to do it.]

I do have...[His ears twitch as he skitters off to a pile of junk he intended to take back. He'd found a plastic bag to hold it all in, which was handy. After a moment of searching he returns with Berrybreath in his arms--bruised and a bit dirty around the snout, but not broken. His black ears low, he holds the stuffed dragon out as if to offer a consolation gift.]

Inspector Berrybreath!

[She seizes on it in utter glee, cuddling to stuffed animal to her chest.]

Hehe, so you DID see a dragon! Bad Inspector, conducting investigations without me.

Who has CLEARLY slacked off in his duties! Any desertion in the pursuit of justice is punishable under the law by hanging. The Inspector should not bother to waste the court's time protesting his innocence.
