I just found out that at Henry's grave site he doesn't even have a head stone or anything at all. It is one of the saddest things I have heard, and I really want to do something about it ( Read more... )

mr. potato head seems like a pretty mean guy. you guys should have car washes or a bake sale or something to raise money. it doesn't necesarily have to be at grad.

i know how you feel meridian. i was so upset these past two years when our school didn't have an assembly or some kind of memoriam for Henry. if you get something figured out i would really love to help out. in the mean time, i will brainstorm ideas.

I know, Amy and I have been thinking the same thing. All they tell us is they think that by doing anything it will be making suicide look like an ok thing to do and they think we will push some kids over the edge. Except we had a memorial at the old school for at least one if not two kids who committed suicide, so I don't understand how this is any different! I dunno... but boo mr plato for sure.

OH my god. This is so disturbing. I thought administrators were supposed to help us grow and mature. and when we finally have and start honoring people who we care about and try to remember the ones we lost they completely shut us down. Ahh I'm so effing pissed! I will help with what ever. The car was thing could work..... just get a bunch of people leschwab is really cool about letting people use their parking lot and we would just sit and ask for donations, also we could see if we could use the rest of the money for something at school... who knows someone could bring it up at grad practice or something... not sure ahhh ANGER!

Yeah we will probably get all the approvals for the memorial before school ends and then over the summer do all the fund raising and such, I hope this all works. Our administration is being so lame about this, and it is driving me crazy!
mr plato AND mr parke are really against involving Henry in graduation, which is ridiculous, but hopefully one of the speakers will be able to just mention it.
The car wash thing will probably work out really well, I will tell ya when we know what were doing! Thanks stabi
