[After talking about walls for what seemed like an obscenely long time, Karkat manages to drag Gamzee to the meeting spot they had all agreed on at the time they agreed. He trusts Kanaya and Terezi to make their way there as well. He had been slightly worried that Gamzee wouldn't, so he took it upon himself to literally tug him along by his hand to the correct location

[Not for the first evening, Kanaya heads to wait by one of the bridges on the western side of the city. She's worked to try sleeping in part of the day instead of her usual nocturnal sleep schedule, so that she won't be getting too tired during the gathering.

Her appearance at least is something she focuses on. It would take something rather more orb world-shattering for her not to ensure her outfit was clean and rather dashing.

It's a momentary surprise to see anyone else at the bridge, let alone two figures. Though in hindsight, the surprise was rather silly. Of course Karkat would be there before anyone else, on the night they actually meant to gather. He was probably impatient. An easy-to-share sentiment, now that there was some communication and possibility of accomplishing something besides restless sleep and fitfully wandering around the city.

...Was that a smile on his face drawn in the same color as Gamzee's makeup? She doesn't bother to hide her smirk.]

I take it you did find Terezi again?

[And so it seemed Terezi was destined to be last to arrive. Of course, she was poking around the area for any potential intruders or interlopers- she wasn't about to allow anything to interfere with an interrogation. That seemed more important than being the first to show or hanging around waiting for other people.]

Of course he did.

[Even through the darkness her excited grin shows clearly as she steps up.]

[The tallest of the trolls (and the only Marked one) is crouched down, leaning his back against a wall none of them can see except him. His long arms rest loosely on his knees, and he watches the girls approach with a curiously intent air, unusual for him. His smile is as lazy and sleepy and slow as ever, though.]
