Title: Frustration
Pairing: KoyaMassu
Genre:Another angst. gah.
Notes: This is, uh, sort of a cathartic release in my part? I just need to let things out but I decided to do eet in a drabble instead. I'll explain properly once the confusion subsides. For now, uhm, enjoy? Un-betaed by the way. Kill me plox. lol.

Massu likes to observe people from afar.  He isn't exactly known for his people skills. To him, it is quite tiring to relate yourself to people every time. He wonders why he ended up being an idol instead. He is indeed grateful for ending up in NEWS. If it was KATTUN, he would have died trying to be cool.  If it was Kanjani8, he might have a split personality instead. In NEWS, he feels sedated. His bandmates aren't that rowdy.  NEWS may be one of the most boring idol groups ever but Massu thinks NEWS suits him very well. Massu thinks that NEWS has their own peaceful charm, like a fuzzy cat wrapped in your arms.

Massu thinks all of these things, and suddenly he frowns when he receives an email message.

'Let's eat out. Shige just cancelled dinner with me because of  a delayed drama shooting."

Massu is tempted to ignore him but who can resist a guy who uses emoticons like a girl? He grumbles to himself but he replies to him anyway, asking where they should meet. Massu finds himself in his favorite ramen restaurant with a yapping Koyama an hour later.

"And then suddenly, Manager-san texted me that I am going to "work" for Meiji for their new kinoko yama chocolate brand!" Koyama throws his head back and laughs heartily. Massu wants to end the dinner abruptly but he can't resist enjoying Koyama's company. Koyama makes him feel  happy. Very, very happy. The only reason why Massu fell in love with him. Yet he hates it. He hates feeling glum when he's with Koyama and he's suddenly reminded that he's dating Shige. Of all people.

Koyama prods him and Massu looks up, very surprised.

'Hey, are you ok or something?' He smiles. Massu thinks the torment has just gotten worse.

'Yeah. I guess.'

"I should've invited Tegoshi too. I know for a fact the 'things' you did over in your recent tour.'" Koyama winks at him. Massu wants to smack his head. He wants to lecture Koyama about the difference of fanservice and the real deal. He wants to tell Koyama, that him flirting with Tegoshi is nothing but to appease the fans' fujoshi pangs. TegoMass is only for showing people that they can do it like any veteran Johnnys. Sell lots of albums and act like Arashi at the same time. Massu wishes he can tell Koyama his thoughts. But he cannot. He knows the answer already. And he doesn't want to hear it.

"Now I'm really concerned." Koyama feels Massu's forehead with his. Massu tries to hide the blush that's starting to creep his cheeks.

"You're fine." Koyama says finally. "You must be coming down with something. Shall I call Tegoshi to take you home?"

Massu wants to stand up and yell at him. Koyama assumes everything. He hates feeling like this. He hates Koyama for forcing the fairytale that TegoMass is whipping up for fans, which wouldn't come true anyway.  His heart belongs to Koyama, and no one else will have it. Massu shakes his head then he stands up.

"No need to call Tegoshi. I'm going home by myself."

Koyama's forehead forms creases. "Are you sure? You might..."

"No, I'll be fine. Really, I will." Massu flashes him his thousand-watt smile. Koyama resigns and he waves Massu goodbye. Massu turns his back, and he tries to fight back a tear.

He'll not be the one destroying KoyaShige's relationship. He just can't do it. In his opinion, he'll keep observing Koyama Keiichiro from afar. And that's the way things will remain. A one-sided relationship.

END.
