Downtime in the office led to me doing some random drabble inspired by Panic! At the Disco's 'The Ballad of Mona Lisa'.
Massu sighs, turns over his bed and begins to ponder. What has he got himself into?
The radio plays the song. Massu cannot understand much of the English lyrics. 'Say what you mean, Tell me I'm right, And let the sun rain down on me..'
He remembers the night before, when Shige went to his place. Massu noticed the look of boredom very apparent on his face. Massu tried to ask him, Shige shrugged the question off. Shige pushed him the down couch and began to kiss him passionately, tearing off his clothes as the kiss deepened. The last thing Massu remembered was Koyama's face.
Massu knows he doesn't stand a chance. He knows he can never replace Koyama. He knows that it was stupid to jump into this liaison. But he cannot feel but helpless against his overpowering feelings for Shige. Is it love? Or lust? Massu does not know. He does not want to hurt Koyama but he cannot stop himself from doing this.
It hurts to see both of them together. It hurts that they're both his friends. He cherished the times when he and Shige were just friends. Until it spiraled out of control.
'There's nothing wrong with the taste of what you paid for.'
A tear rolls down Massu's cheek. His cellphone shows one new message. It is Shige. He's coming over in an hour.
He wants to stop this. But Shige coming over is not a good start.
Massu sighs. He hears the title of the song that was just played. He hopes for the best and closes his eyes.
The End

Thinking of starting over with just drabbles. I suck at making long fics. Sorry if this is what I can do for now. And it's ShigeMassu. LOL.
