And also a good thing that they are ripping on old movies again instead of trying to do new ones. (which most people say is what killed the original show)

It is nice to see that they're doing old movies again, although I don't think that doing newer movies is a bad thing (there are certainly plenty of newer movies that deserve the MST3K treatment). But when MST3K moved to the SciFi Channel, the powers there were more restrictive and meddled more in the movies that got chosen for the show, and a lot of newer stuff got selected.
It's sad, though, that what killed MST3K on the SciFi Channel, and on Comedy Central, too, wasn't bad ratings. Both cable networks went through a change in management, and the new people in command didn't want to deal with a two hour long program that required negotiations for movie use rights for every episode...

Godzilla:Final Wars deserves an MST3K treatment too.

I was happily surprised to find it, too. I think I'll be watching it a lot ;-)

*chuckle* I got that movie a couple of months ago, but I haven't watched it yet. Sounds like it's going to be a fun movie ;-)

*grin!* When I read the description of Nukie in your LJ, I was kind of speechless ;-) I think I need to watch that movie sometime, just because it sounds so bad...
