Season One (well, a chunk of season one) of Tiny Toon Adventures is coming out on DVD on July 29! 35 episodes and extras on 4 DVDs with an MSRP of $44.98 are what's being reported...
*chuckle* Sounds like fun! I wonder how many tens of thousands of TTA screen grabs are going to be made all over the world once the DVDs are finally out ;-)
And they announce that on April Fool's Day? ;-) Hmm.. it seems to be legit. Freakazoid too. Awesome! :-) I wonder if they are going to have the original longer version of their pilot episode that they never re-broadcast in its entirety...

*chuckle* The timing of the announcement wasn't terribly good, but I've read that site for years, and they've never pulled any April Fool's stunts. Of course, I did wait until April 2 before posting anything, because I doubt anyone here would've believed me if I'd mentioned it on the 1st ;-)

Truth be told, I can't recall watching Freakazoid. I remember the series, but no real details about it...

Good question! That website is great about posting new details of DVD releases as they become known, so there may very well be news between now and July about which version of the pilot episode is included. If so, I'll be sure to say something about it :-)
It sure is! :-) I can't figure out why it's taken Warner Bros so long to get TTA out, because the series always ranks high on surveys of TV shows people want to see released on DVD...
