Neiges perfume photo shoot

This is so cool. Remember back in June, I was talking about an interesting opportunity? This is it. Lise Watier Cosmetiques used my wolf masks for a Neiges perfume ad campaign. Here are some behind the scenes videos of the shoot, which happened in Toronto.

That is so cooooooooooool!!! :D I love how much attention was given to your masks, too. It wasn't just like *quick glance at masks*, they were actually a major part of the videos and shoot. I love how they did one with the wolves being the women, and then the wolves being the men.

Thank you! Yeah it was neat and they really did seem to get a kick out of the masks. The day of the shoot I received a few ebullient texts from the producer that went something like "WE LOVE THE MASKS!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! LOVE LOVE!!!". It was really great. :)

And the perfume smells nice, too. Though I still can't quite picture the finished photos...I know they won't look quite the way they do on the video.

Do the models REALLY need someone to rub oil on FOR them? You'd think the guys could put on their own oil and then just wipe their hands off instead of getting felt up by some assistant...

The perfume really is quite lovely...thank you for getting me some! It's nice to know what kind of product my wolves are selling. :)

I guess maybe they don't want models with oily hands? I don't know. Or, perhaps the assistants just...you know...enjoy doing that kind of thing?

Well, I figured you wouldn't be able to get it, that easily...it doesn't seem available in the US at all. And I was sure you'd want to know what the perfume your masks are helping to promote smells like.

It's a lighter fragrance than I would have expected, going by its ingredients...it sounded like a heavy floral. And it is floral, but fairly light.

I like the snowflake covered bottle, too.

Maybe they do, though all I could think when I saw it was 'man that is awkward and embarrassing...for both of them'. I would neither want to rub oil on some strange guy, nor be the one being rubbed. Yuck.

Niftiness! The "wolves" look like they should be freezing on that set, though. Brrrrrr ...

Heh! Neat how a little lighting and fake snow can make something look like it's not...they did that shoot in June. :) I think they used a black light to cast a blue tint on all that white.
