well, it's getting to be about that time again... i have signed up to walk the walk, and talk the talk. i'll be joining the company team to raise money for the juvenile diabetes research foundataion in their annual walk, and i'm asking for those on my flist (or others, if you can point them this way) to contribute a buck or two or more

you know, i am very, very lucky that no one in our family has diabetes. i do have a few friends who are type 1 diabetic (and a few who are type 2 as well). but, it's only 3 miles, and i can do that. it's the least i can do.
