very cool. I loved Cathy's reaction, she gets all prickly when the guys show up and it amuses me. ^_^

But what about the last installment of the most recent mulit-part fic you were writing? (the title just slipped my mind)

uh, that last installment's coming along. i sort of ran out of steam last week, so it's late. it will be posted, and hopefully this weekend. (the title's conjunctive point)

hee!! yeah, i was going to mention the 'guest' by name, but figured everyone would pretty much know who he was.

heck, if i was thinner, and had the chance, i'd be 'playing dress up', too! :) i don't know if women ever really outgrow that, even those of us who aren't particularly girly.

it really sort of got away from me...i was supposed to end about where relena got out of the limo, then duo popped up. and you know when duo shows up, things sort of explode. and yeah, that's my excuse -- it's duo's fault. :D

You did a great job with the simultaneous conversations... I always fail at that and end up with two people talking in a group while everybody else turns into lumps! :D

heh... well, when we post the prompts, we do say that the 'pair' can be in any sort of relationship, or none at all. they just have to be mentioned. we're trying to get more less mentioned characters in fic written about. i have to tell you, this is the first time i've written cathy (as other than an aside mention), so it was worth the experience for me.

i love simultaneous conversations! but they can be tricky to juggle, to keep the reader from getting too confused. when you write in 1st person pov, most of the time, others are lumps, or more like charlie brown adults -- they're sort of there, but from the pov's perspective, it's all about who s/he is talking to...mostly. sometimes they tend to pay more attention to the conversations going on in the background, or the ones going on in their own head

A very nice peek into the lives of the pilots after the wars. With just a hint about what is going on, you make me want more than a glimpse.

hehe, i doubt there will be more to this story, though it half-way fits into something i've been tinkering with for awhile. i might just sort of fit this into the other story, make this a side fic to the other of sorts.
