title: on the steps of a slow afternoon in july, pairings: heero/duo, warnings: language, BL,
notes: written especially for sharon, because i love her, and inspired by the wonderful drawing my lovely porc created.

It happened as a surprise, in a most unexpected way, and ended in the best way possible. )

*happy sigh* just the kind of feeling I felt when I drew it. I loved the lazy and relaxed mood. Something was going to happen and you warned us but it still got me covering my mouth in surprise. Duo's way of declaration is so..Duo XDDD And then the scene at the steps, the knowing and the ending...*sigh* just so much love.

*huggles smushes* you so awesome, mermer~~~ :D yey! for heeroduo fix!

I could almost hear the summer insects and feel the breeze.

such a lethal combination.
good thing i have my laziness to pull me back, or else I'd be queen of the world, huh? *beams*

*loves on and smushes* I think this calls for a re-read to start my day..yep!

Umm... a lovely scene to take to bed with me tonight, with an ending that is both promising and open.

hee! the moment on the steps wasn't conclusive, but had enough promise that knew where it would end. :)

i hope it brought you some lovely dreams! (i was going to ask for a new story, but you're still working on one! so greedy, i am)

*grins* If I was only working on one story, I'd probably get a lot more done. With Lies being posted, I have several more in the wings, a couple yet to be finished and I had two new story ideas yesterday. So many ideas and so very little time had become my new motto. I think I need to enroll in a time management course.

i have so many ideas, so many stories in various stages of being done (or started), i don't need time management, i need a kick in the rear to finish! i keep getting drawn away by other stories that attract my attention.

SQUEEEE!!!! XD that was so cute. I love Duo getting in Heero's face about the whole thing. Nicely done as always!

hehe... i have the idea that duo likes getting up in heero's face about a lot of things. ;) not that i blame him for that.

oh thank you! i'm glad you liked the story.

hee! what's funny is, yesterday afternoon, i was thinking about summer days as a kid, and how we'd have to run to keep the feet from getting blistered from the ground being so hot...and here i was, walking across the parking lot at work, wanting to take my shoes off and see if it still felt the same. i didn't because common sense told me it would in a physical way, but not in the emotional one i was really trying to grasp. :)

and that's what porc's picture did -- gave me an emotional moment back from spending summers at the lake (though not in a lake house! nothing so fancy), and how we'd sit outside til midnight and later, or make a trip to the ice cream store down the road, and everything was calm but exciting.

thanks for reading!
