Doctor Who - The Vampires of Venice

Just a few thoughts on the episode.

I liked it, although not nearly as much as the weeping angels. The vampire virgins were kind of comical, though. Really wooden acting - found myself laughing when they appeared at the window, hands held like claws in front of them.

Liked the ending in all its ambiguousness. Nice touch, to imbue the aliens with so much 'humanity' - they weren't evil, they were just trying to survive. Tough choice for the Doctor.

I rather like Rory - I hope he gets a look in with the Doctor around. Wouldn't wish Mickey's fate on him.

Overall, interesting dynamic with the Doctor, Amy, Rory triangle, but at heart I fear I will probably always be a Doctor/Rose shipper, no matter what body the Doctor currently has. Still, interesting.

I'm really intrigued by the story arch with all the cracks. I'm pretty much hooked at this point.

The preview for next week's episode looks fabulous.

Good day today. Some play, some work. Went to the tip to get rid of some rubbish from the shed, dropped some furniture off at the MIL's and then played in the garden. Makes me feel like we've achieved a lot and had fun at the same time.

Not really psyched about next week, though. So. Much. To. Do.

Crap.
