May Day! May Day! Fes on the Brain!
5/4 - Unlike Maizie, somehow I've managed to not die yet and completed all of the first area of tartarus. The final boss certainly put me in a nasty situation with mazio spamming, but I somehow finished him off before he could complete his killing job. Amazingly no deaths to any party members that battle, but plenty of low hp all around. I've noticed one really nasty issue with hard mode, enemies give terrible exp. This makes it almost impossible to grind up to a decent level for combat.
I continue daily commu collecting, basically going through strength, hermit, heiroplant, chariot, magician currently depending on opportunities. It's gonna be fun shuffling enough personas to match up with the commus right now!
Also I just had the most awesome date with elizabeth. She really is everything you'd expect from a lovely, intelligent, but naive girl who lives within a dream room. It's utterly hilarious when she uses 1 million yen in each fountain to make the spirits grant her wishes...except her wish itself is completely lacking.
Now I go forth to collect personas(especially fusing a heiroplant) and see if I can complete the item request from elizabeth.
5/11 - Whew, fun week there. Just finished the 2nd full moon and conquered the dangers of dancing on a monorail. Now it's the week before exams where nobody has time to hang out. I guess the old folks in the bookstore are going to get more than they bargained for.
Well that was an interesting addition. There's a recording of Ipootsuki making terrible jokes while writing a report on the monorail battle.
5/12 - Okay, tomorrow will likely be the start of Tartarus Area 2, certainly hope I can keep being smart, especially with exams coming up!
5/13 - The compendium is finally open and now I'm quite scared. 1 million for a top of the line persona. Certainly not reasonable when I'm sitting on only 37k yen. Also to note, the persona percentage has gone from 95% in non-fes to 82% in fes. Sounds like there's a ton more to get now...
First Death finally! All because I didn't click exit portal before the phantom mage shadow did a surprise attack on me and cast maragi twice. Well at least that's over, now I can focus on finishing the game with just one death, j/k.
5/27 - It's been a matter of continuing up the 2nd area of Tartarus and adding a lot of commus. I'm now dating both Yuko and Chihiro. Also I'm hanging out with most of the guys in the school and Mr. Tanaka in the Mall. I'm up to 3 deaths now, the second was just like the first. Both were just as I was about to exit the area with a surprise enemy attack. The third was after an enemy surprised and did 3 area effects to kill me. I've passed the Lv25 boss and still have no boss deaths yet though! Onward to 36!
Also after my third death, I decided to take a look at the intro to the answer chapter for the fun of it. It's certainly weird to be playing around with characters I don't have in my current game yet. Anyways, it seems like a new tartarus style grind is in the offing with aigis as the main char, and strange indeed is what they do with that... More coming on that front after I finish the Journey first!
5/30 - Fourth Death accidentally running into enemy I thought I was surprising! Also beat Floor 36 boss and hit lv15. Time to move on to June finally!
