Saving the Universe requires the love of everyone
1/1 - It's the final chapter in this long and windy road. I've rampaged through tartarus so far, killing two bosses. However I ran into the most unexpected beatdown yet after finishing the second boss. Some white creature did megidolan for about 700 damage on every character. Since I generally only have about 450-500 hp, this is not good... So that makes Death #16! Let's see if I can somehow keep this under 20 while battling some of the most dangerous monsters in the game.
1/4 - Whee, Death #17. Had Balance boss down to like 5% hp, but infinite megidolan + 2 dead party members = impossible to mount an offense. I took a risk that 2 attacks would kill it...and it didn't. I think the boss had like 50 hp left!
Ok that balance is one damn seriously annoying boss. First half of his hp, it's all area effect dyne spells. third quarter of his hp, he's full of mahaons and mamudoons and megidolas. I had just myself alive like 3 times during the fight. But luckily Aigis with her revival spell were awesome to get me to 3 party members. Luckily I kept myself alive enough to have a party of 3 for when the boss did infinite megidolans. 300 damage party effects are not fun!
And another boss down. Pretty nasty attacker, but one attack mirror, a lot of powerful area effect dynes from Yukari and Mitsuru, and some timely crits help turn the tide before we get into real trouble. Having Abaddon also makes things fun when he's immune to all physical. One last boss to go in Area 6, this one's pretty nasty I remember.
1/6 - Almost up to the top. Just need to beat one last boss! I just had the most insane hand killing floor. Killed like 10 hands and even slipped past death for one more. That's an insane number of Nihil items. 27 Nihils now!
Done! Final boss down. Now just leveling and questing left...and hopefully full socials!
1/8 - Whee, did a little armaggedon action with death...twice. Unfortunately I've learned lv95 vorpal blade can kill a person with 600hp in one hit. Monad...is...scary. That makes 18 deaths, let's see if I can avoid any more. Ah well, leveling there is awesome!
Lv86 now, Monad is truly a leveling heaven. Just gotta flee from anyone really dangerous.
1/10 - Lv91 now, I figure at this rate I'll be 99 by 1/14. Now it's time to fuse mad weapons. Must get those awesome 450 attack power toys. Lv94 now! Luckily I saved just before getting surprised and whacked to death. 19 Deaths now!
1/13 - I've finished all quests except the monad item one. Gotta hunt gold chests for a while it seems. Also got 2 of the uber 450 power and +10 stat weapons. I guess I'll be collecting those every 2 days until the end. Also at Lv97 now! Only 2 more to go until done! Then it'll be all about Socializing with Aigis and getting personas to 100%!
1/14 - Mmmm, I really love Mitsuru. Her Lv8 date is really the best one ever. And then her lv9 is just lovely sweetness. She's just so much awesome as a person, almost flawless even in her non-practical naivete. Yay Lv99! Now I just need to finish leveling Messiah for uber-armor. And whoa, I didn't even realize hp/sp instantly hit 999. That's pretty smexy for future survival.
1/15 - Been working on trying to finish all quests, get 100% personas, get all interesting heart items. It's been kind of a grind, but I did have another death to make it an even 20. Of course this was just me being careless at Lv99 running about monad. I've learned that 999 hp doesn't always last!
1/20 - Onward to the finale! Mitsuru had a lovely time with me in her room and then Bebe finished his kimono to help with his fight for nihongo return! So I'm down to one more day with the Star and two more days with Geeky Fortune man. Otherwise it's all Aigis. Hopefully they'll all complete! In terms of Personas, I have 3 more to go. One is the special all social links one...that I'll have to get at the end. The others are the last fortune and last moon. The moon is my goal for today's tartarus rampage. Also I've gotten Messiah's human armor, human legs, aigis legs, and koromaru armor. I just need aigis armor, more human armor/legs(with magic defense), and that impossible to get omniponent orb. Also a few more immunity items from lower level heart items would be nice. And one other goal is finishing the last damn Elizabeth quest. Finding the right rare chest in Monad is ebil. The one other thing is my weapon fusions have given me almost every 450 weapon. I just need the corpse rod and vajra to complete the 450 set. So much madness to really do if I want to feel complete.
1/25 - Got every 450 power weapon now! Also done with Star and down to just 2 more days of fortune and 3 more days with Aigis. Also got a wind immunity toy and a physical/magical resistance heart item. The only big things to do are finish the last quest and get the last 2 personas.
1/30 - Omg on the very final day... the final date with Aigis! Perfect timing. I know I messed up a couple days at least, so it looks like I was just good enough at my socials. This is a damn tough road to get everything even with having max stats already. Whee now I can do the final persona right! And there's something that just seems wrong about untieing Aigis's ribbon...
1/31 - It looks like the ending sequence has been lengthened and made more complete. It certainly feels like such a full experience. Time to rock Nyx with the emotions of everyone! Fight for love and justice we say! Ignore the people who mindlessly forget life! And when you're lv99, fighting nyx's harbinger is like sleepwalking through battle.
Oh my goddess. Meeting Mrs Toriumi and seeing her go crazy and blush after discovering your online identity is TRULY AWESOME. Definitely worth the price of admission. These post-nyx moments are great! It finally makes it feel like your relationships really were complete. The ones from the Lv10 Commus just didn't quite fulfill. They really did make FES feel like a complete version.
