Pierrefonds photos
As many of you know, loreley_se, jhava, londinensa and I took ourselves off to Pierrefonds to look at the filming. You've already seen their photos. They have big, posh camera with great zooms. Unfortunately I do not. But what I got, I'll share with you. By the time Anthony Head, Angel Coulby etc turned up to film in the evening, the light had become far too poor for my wee camera, so no photos of that unfortunately.
Highlight was of course Bradley recognising us from Expo/Soccer Six where he filmed us, and greeting us with a knowing grin and the immortal line, 'so what brings you to Pierrefonds then?'. He chatted to us for a good five minutes and we assured him that we'd just been passing and decided to drop in (; He'd waved at us earlier but I, big dufus that I am, managed to look away at that exact second so missed it.
Colin largely filmed inside so there were no real opportunities to chat to him. But he was cheerful and most importantly alive. The rest of the cast and extras were also lovely and our extraordinary luck at Merlin events continues apace.
My strongest memory? Bradley messing about in front of Anthony Head, whilst practicing his sword play. Bradley thrust his sword downwards, trying to look macho and acomplished, forgetting the stunt crash mat was there and punctured it! All fell about laughing and Anthony yelled, 'who did that mat belong to? Vandal!' Bradley looked shamefaced and apologetic. Not only does he regularly stick his foot in it, but apparently his sword too.
