Puzzlewood group trip (filming location)

In honour of this lovely summer we're having (ahem), I would like to propose a group trip to Puzzlewood, in Gloucestershire. Puzzlewood has been extensively used for outdoor Merlin scenes. I live five miles away from Puzzlewood so I will happily join you! If you come up on a day I can do (not 7th July or 11th-18th August inc as I either working or on holiday!) then I would be happy to do a taxi run from Gloucester train station too. Depending on how many of us there are we could always nip out to see the lake where Excalibur lay and where Freya now lives - that's only about ten minutes drive from Puzzlewood.

Having done my share of detailed locationing (2 hours outside St Bart's doing a reconstruction of Sherlock faking his death), I'm now wondering how easily one could identify certain specific bits of Puzzlewood where certain scenes took place, and find them IRL...

If it's any help lou_angel who has been to a few of the meetups lives about 10 mins away from Puzzlewood. I'll let her know this is happening and she may be able to help with logistics

For a moment there I thought I was on Facebook and looked for the like button. But YES, I am always up for a Puzzlewood trip. Can't say I can point out the specific points Merlin filmed in, but I know some places!

Nope, they aren't arriving until the 31st so the 28th works for me!
