I have to admit, as much as I was wishing that someone would do this, I never actually thought Uther/Merlin fluff would work. But you just did it so beautifully and hilariously. ♥

I know what you mean. Any fic that involves Uther does tend to be rather dark. And I like that too. :-) But it kind of never occurred to me that Uther/Merlin fluff wouldn't work. If it had I might not have attempted it. LOL. I'll see what the future prompts are and who knows? it might be possible to continue with this particular Merlin and Uther's story. Thanks for your really kind words.

Oh. My. God. That was good. Laughing a lot of the way through that - in a good way, Merlin's such a dolt - and just grinning so much now. AMAZING!

I wish I didn't fully understand where Merlin is coming from. *headdesk of mortification* So dangerous, so utterly execution-worthy, and yet so hot.

Oh, I hope that didn't come off bad or anything. :P I mostly meant that Merlin isn't usually the instigator in Uther/Merlin and that first person isn't as popular, but both these work really well with the fluffiness of the fic.

*might be guilty of hyperbole and should perhaps explain herself better*

No, no, I took your comment as a compliment. It's nice to be told you've produced something unusual when you didn't realise it was. :-D The effect I was going for was scatter-brain Merlin not realising he was biting off more than he could chew. I probably had far too much fun writing it. ;-)
