The 24 Hour Musicals at the Old Vic Theatre

I had a long but lovely day on Sunday. I started off by meeting nenimefish and wolfofmagdeburg at the Chocolate Festival on Southbank. Speaking as another Dirty Old Woman (and really showing my age) I had a fourth row seat at the Old Vic for Derek Jacobi's Hamlet so I know exactly how well you could see Colin's attributes *g*.

And I can second everything you wrote in your wonderful report. We only had the expensive tickets, not the very expensive ones, so we were up in the dress cirlce. Good thing I had my little binoculars along.

one of the saddest things about this night? that i filmed colin's entire opening scene, and then the sheer awesomeness of his dancing killed my camera, stone dead, and fried the film i'd just made with it... but it shall live on in memory haha
