Apologies for being even later in updating than usual. We were in sunny Malta for a pre-Christmas holiday, and after going Christmas food shopping in the rain today, frankly I was wishing myself back there!

But on to the episode.( Read more... )

Hi sweetheart, my brother, who is on his way back here from Australia right now, lives in Malta. It's a lovely peaceful place, I really love it. I sent you an email a few days ago and thought you were very busy when I didn't hear back but a nice break is a much better reason.
BTW I hadn't noticed that rock wasn't real but in my defence I am always half asleep.

My first email was asking for your address cos I found something lovely to send under the guise of Chritmas! I've learned stick the important stuff at the top, I'm an idiot, with no magical powers sadly.
Been crying science /Saturday hope you are feeling less weepy. Your Mr husband has always sounded lovely and supportive,my cats not cutout for loud weeping.:))
Love you

Ps report on Malta would be fab :))

I've never been to Malta. I hope you do a post on it, please.

As for the locations, none of them looked familiar other than the typical Puzzlewood, Pierrefonds ones. I never got to Forest Fawr or 3 bear cave.

I will indeed do a post on Malta, hon, just as soon as I find a bit of time. I really loved it, so I certainly want to share it with you!

Thank you for all the Locations help along the way. You've been a marvellous adventurer, and I am sure you'll enjoy your travels elsewhere just as much as you've enjoyed your Locations Trips.

It's been a marvelous journey and I really did like the excuse to roam around Wales and England. I will miss it, actually. We'll have to get together at some point and visit some of the Arthurian legend sites. I haven't been to Tintagel in many years and other places beckon, too.

Thank you! Oh well, at leat I got the tag right. :-)

The exterior of Morgana's fortress seems to me to be perched atop the cliffs that you can see from Symonds Yat Rock lookout. And my impression was that they CGI'd in some images of Caerphilly Castle to 'build' it. I'm going to have to go back and check now!

The interior was the council chambers set redressed - or should I say 'distressed'? - with lots of vines and rubble.
