Alex, Eoin and Rupert at MCM Expo

FYI, I have posted about the MCM Expo in Manchester Birmingham* yesterday on both the Merlin Locations site and our Rupert site (the same report is on both).

It was a rather long and occasionally trying day, but oh those few stolen moments of bliss make it all worthwhile!

* Sorry, it's all the same inside those convention halls! :-)

I'm so glad you got your 'reward' for excessive queuing in the end. It's really rather ridiculous to see people complain about the lack of organisation at these cons almost every single time. After doing it for so-and-so-many years you'd expect they'd manage to handle it better...

Anyway, it's brilliant that you got to glomp Rupert twice (bless him for blinking <3) and overall seemed to have had a lovely time.

Also many thanks for your 'stealthy' Rupert!question, it's much appreciated.

Many thanks for the excellent report. As another Edge of Darkness fan I was hugely amused that Ian McNeice recced you a fan vid. He sounds absolutely lovely.

Glad to hear "our" guys were so popular but the queuing sounds horrendous. At least it was worth it in the end! I decided years ago that queuing wasn't my thing but you'd think organisers would find some way to make it less awful. It's not as if it's unusual!

Thanks for the great report. Sounds like it was worth it in the end but still, you would think they'd figure out that the knights are popular. At least Rupert blinked!
