The Blue Pool, Fforest Fawr

Jul 11, 2013 00:19

I have posted to the website about a new-found location, The Blue Pool in Fforest Fawr. While they didn't flm using the pool itself, they made much use of the steep chasm leading up to it - for example, in episodes 402 The Darkest Hour and 404 Aithusa.

Aw, sorry about that, hon! This one has really caused me far more trouble than it should have! I've been exploring to either side of the main pathway, bit by bit - when it turns out that what I should have done is simply walk further along it!

Hey there, hon! I'm glad you enjoyed this post and the overlay! I always think of you when I do them now. :-)

That bit of scientific deduction that Gwaine and Merlin made was actually very well done and tied to Clearwell Caves - which was used as the location where Alator took Gaius. And that is exactly the kind of soil anyone visiting there would have on their boots! I just loved that verisimilitude. :-D

I like your Dragon Heart version of what happened to Arthur. ♥

Damn! I wanted to post this new location! *lol* We just found the pool and that little canyon three days ago by chance, when we visited the Three Bears Caves and Castle Coch. :)

My friends and I are in Wales right now to visit at least some of the locations and your website helps us immensely to find them. Thanks so much!!! *hugs*

I am really glad that you found this location. I must admit it isn't on my list to try to find but I've always wondered where on earth or rather where in South Wales could it be.

Thanks again.

Thank you, hon! I have to say this was one of the ones that was really bugging me... and of course ironically it turned out quite straightforward after all. :-D
