This is so amazing. I have actually read the book and the only reason I could let myself read this story is because you wrote that you hadn't read it. Basing it that heavily on the book would have killed me (I cried for like ten minutes when I finished the book...good job I'd already gotten of the bus).
Anyway, this is amazing! Such a beautiful (and often painful) slow build up. I absolutely loved that Bradley could admit he loved Colin almost the whole way through, and that he still made their friendship work for so long when he couldn't have Colin.
Absolutely gorgeous. And so funny at times too. Thank you so much for writing this! :)
