Two of my nieces are soothed and can be put to sleep by me singing 'Another one Bites the Dust'. It's the rhythm of the thing. I pretty much make whatever song I can think of into a lullaby when the niblings won't sleep. Just stretch out the tune and emphasise the rhythm. Can't say I've ever sand Metallica, though :)
