[Arthur's just freed himself from yet another interminable Council Meeting and the sight of Gwaine is enough to bring a smile to his face.]

"How much did you drink this time, Gwaine?"

"Always enough, Gwaine," [He shakes his head and laughs, throwing an arm around the staggering knight.] "I'll never pay back that tab, you realise?"

"Even royalty's coffers have a limit, Gwaine. I hope you didn't offer two many rounds 'on the prince' this time."

[Arthur's kidding of course, Gwaine's escapades at the Rising Sun are famous of course, but it'd take more than one man to bankrupt the royalty of Camelot.]

[Oh Gwaine, typical.

Arthur rolls his eyes.]

"It keeps morale up, at least, I suppose I should thank you for that."

{he laughS} Morale IS up, princess. Look at that, nary a brawl in sight.

[Arthur chuckles, and lets the 'Princess' comment slide - he is in a good mood!] "True, true, you must be doing something right. Although aren't you usually the cause of such brawls."

[Touche!]

Only those I don't like and I happen to like these fine people.

"Oh, I see." [Arthur grins sneakily.] "So you're admitting that Camelot isn't so bad after all?"

It has its charms and perks.

"Like a well-stocked tavern," [Arthur replies with a rather cheeky grin.]

"Now, we better get you back to the barracks for a lie down, we've got training tomorrow and I'd like you to be there."

Aye, like a well stocked tavern and good company. {He takes another healthy swig} Don't worry your pretty little head about it, princess. I'll be at training.
