[Arthur's just freed himself from yet another interminable Council Meeting and the sight of Gwaine is enough to bring a smile to his face.]

"How much did you drink this time, Gwaine?"

"Always enough, Gwaine," [He shakes his head and laughs, throwing an arm around the staggering knight.] "I'll never pay back that tab, you realise?"

"Even royalty's coffers have a limit, Gwaine. I hope you didn't offer two many rounds 'on the prince' this time."

[Arthur's kidding of course, Gwaine's escapades at the Rising Sun are famous of course, but it'd take more than one man to bankrupt the royalty of Camelot.]

"It keeps morale up, at least, I suppose I should thank you for that."
