The Microfic Meme
I saw this microfic meme doing the rounds in some of my other fandoms, so I decided to nick it. Plus, I was bored (dissertation? what dissertation?) and this was an entertaining challenge.

Write 10 different categories of fic, each in 10 words or less.

1. Angst:
The flames licked over Merlin, but Arthur could only watch.
2. AU:
“But I’ve never had a white beard!”
Arthur laughed.
3. Crack!Fic:
“I’m leaving you for the Slash Dragon.”
Arthur stopped laughing.
4. Crossover:
“I have something to tell you, Sire. I can… sparkle.”
5. First Time:
It was sloppy and hard; not perfection - but perfect.
6. Fluff:
“You are my Prince, my Lord, my Love."
7. Humour:
“Bit… small for a sword, isn’t it?”
8. Hurt/Comfort:
Who knew that bruises could taste of hope?
9. Smut:
Arthur could never look at the stocks again without blushing.
10. UST (aka Unresolved, or Unrequited, Sexual Tension):
Arthur gave himself to crown and country. But never Merlin.
