It's pretty much the same here in northern Georgia. Most years we get so much rain that mold and mildew will grow on the outside of the houses. The boy and I really suffer with allergies. He blew his nose this morning and said, "Ugh. I think my brain just moved."
I have fantasies about firing up a chainsaw and cutting down every one of those blasted ornamental trees that bloom all spring long. The misery du jour here is coming from flowering redtips (got a huge hedge of them in the yard of the house next to us) and wild privet, which grows everywhere.
I have relatives who live in Macon, and I know exactly what you mean. Ick...
Our big tickets are the bradford pears (which are all over my neighborhood) and the pine trees, which are just everywhere in general. Oh, and I loved your chainsaw dream. ;) I'm totally with you on that one. :)
Thanks! I've been better over the last few days congestion wise, so hopefully whatever it is that's triggering it is slowing down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Even poor Loppy's have trouble this year, her eyes are all red and her nose was runny yesterday when she came in from out in the field. We need some equine benadryl. ;)
