It sounds like you are a Mom and Chris is your son. You just have a much more individual label than the rest of us moms - and a very loving one.

You may not have given birth to CHris, but you have accepted the responsibility of raising him. You are the mother he has known; therefore you ARE his mother. What he calls you and what you answer to are between of ya'll.

Aunt Audrey sounds like an awesome name to me:-)
