My rule has always been that if I am paying more for repairs per month than for a new car, trade it in. That's what happened with the old Civic.

I'm not paying more for repairs than a new car, but the new car costs about the same as old car and I believe it would improve my quality of life with little to no financial impact.

Ooooo! The new Mazdas are HOT! I love the 3 with the hatchback...probably because I have to parallel park.

I like it too! they didn't have any hatchbacks that were used and in my price-range, though :(
