Christmas is getting so close.  I'm excited.  it's also so lovely this morning because it's cold and rainy outside and I'm just sitting in the living room watching the Christmas tree while I have my tea.

I'm also looking forward to today because Mario and I are finally going to go see The Hobbit!  my mom and I actually had tickets to go see it on ( Read more... )

Ahhh, I love sitting inside in the warm while it's raining outside! The sound of the rain drumming on the window is so comforting :) I'm also feeling pretty Christmassy - we got and decorated our tree today, which I know is scandalously late for you, but is actually quite early for me! Impressed on your Christmas-present-preparedness - I still have a long way to go :S

Let me know what you thought of the Hobbit! We got to go to the midnight release here, which was awesome, with lots of cosplaying Gandalfs. Do you like the book?

Yes me too! We get so little rain in Southern California so I'm always so excited when it actually rains. Usually though its jsut gray and drizzly. lol

Aw, yay! I love christmas things how exciting for you!

Mario and I both loved it. I've actually (shockingly) never read the book. I've read LoTR triology but for some reason never got around to readnig The Hobbit but of course now I'm dying to read it

How did you like it? I would've loved to see people dressed up!

Ahaha, of course, I wasn't even thinking about the rarity of rain where you are! It's always shocking to me that someone can be unused to rain, heh.

I really liked it too! It was a lot more 'epic' than the book, which is more just a comforting adventure than a Grand Quest (so I think it would make good Christmas-time reading if you have the time :), but I was expecting that so could appreciate it. I didn't like Martin Freeman in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, so I was a bit nervous, but I loved his Bilbo :) He had great comic timing and faces :D

Yeah we don't get much rain and if we do it never lasts. I swear if it rains for more than like 2 hours straight we get all excited. lol

Yes I do so love epic movies. It was very grand. I definitely need to pick up a copy of the book for myself.

I wasnt familiar with him at al so I think that must've helped. But I agree he had great timing. And I loved all the Dwarves!
