The thing I love about tumblr is that it's so active even in the Harry Potter fandom

The thing I don't like however is that I feel the outsider. Lol

I remember being right in the middle of the fandom for so long but now I feel like an outsider looking in. I also feel old Lol

Yeah, I spend a looooot of time on tumblr (too much -_-), but I have a really hard time with getting involved with it. I wish I could open up more on there and make some friends, and I wish that I still had the motivation for making gifs and graphics, but I'm definitely in a much more passive position and sometimes it bothers me too!

Yes, this exactly. That feeling of having finally found my people was just wonderful, and now I'm not even sure where to look for fandom stuff. That's one really great thing about having a RL fandom base in the university Harry Potter Society, though I haven't managed to go to many of their events in this past year due to anxiety, so I'm feeling out of that loop as well :/ Is there a local Harry Potter Alliance chapter anywhere near you? I know you couldn't be that active with Ariel, but who knows, they might happen by sheer coincidence to do children's reading groups or something!
