Ganked from
sxcofyncoktals 1) Total number of films I own on DVD/Video:
TOO MANY TO COUNT! I’ve been a film fanatic since I was 13 and got my first VCR! Come on now!
2) The last film I bought:
Phantom of the Opera
3) The last film I watched:
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4) Five films that I watch a lot or mean a lot to me:
I watch a lot of movies repeatedly. It just depends on my mood. And my mood changes a LOT!
(1) Love Actually-I’ve seen this movie SO many times and I never tire of it.
(2) Amelie-I love that movie and one of these days I have to BUY a freakin’ copy! It’s all about the poetry of life!
(3) Timeline/Tomb Raider 2-my favorite Gerry movies and I probably watch them the most of his collection.
(4) Sleeping Beauty/Beauty & the Beast/Little Mermaid/Mulan/Finding Nemo-my favorite cartoon movies
(5) whatever it strikes my mood to rewatch (I seriously do NOT have a stigma about watching movies 100 times and more)
5) Which five people are you passing the baton onto? and why?
What? Like I’m going to die or something? I’m not passing on any batons thank you!
1) Total number of books owned?
Oh God. Again, I can’t count them. I did just recently get rid of a CRAPLOAD (and it was like I had to cut off my arm!), but I’m a bookaholic.
2) The last book I bought? "She Captains" by Joan Druett & "Storm Front" by Jim Butcher (I bought them both today)
3) The last book I read?
I’m in the middle of 2 books (I tend to take breaks and pick up something else). The last one I finished though was "Chapel Noir" by Carole Nelson Douglas
4) Five books that mean a lot to me?
OMG! Just 5?! Geez, these are HARD!
(1) The Bible-though I don’t know if you can call it a "book" per se. But I read it daily. ;)
(2) Anything having to do w/ Sherlock Holmes-even if I don’t read them all, I’ll buy anything having to do w/ Sherlock Holmes (even the Irene Adler series by Carole Nelson Douglas I keep raving about). I’m addicted.
(3) the Harry Potter books-the only book I’ve waited in line at 2 in the morning when I had to work at 7am the next day to buy (for book #5). Then spent all weekend doing nothing but reading it before anyone could spoil anything for me.
(4) "The Bean Trees" by Barbara Kingsolver. I can’t really explain why, but this is my favorite literary book of all time. It’s got great characters, a great heart/moral and it’s written incredibly well. One of the few literary gems out there that will give you a warm, happy feeling when you’re done reading it. Even though not everything that happens w/in it is happy.
(5) "Jill the Pill" by Stephen Kellog-because it was the first book I learned to read. I will always have a place in my heart for his picture books. I just LOVED his artwork growing up. Still do. ;)
5) Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their LJs:

sycohoochi TAG, YOU’RE IT! (because I figure you 5 will actually do it) ;)
1) If you could take one person (living, dead or fictional)out for coffee and conversation, who would it be? What would you talk about?
DUH! Gerard Butler! And we’d talk about EVERYTHING! The man LOVES to talk and he’s a hoot once you get him on a roll. I just want to be able to sit w/ him for an hour and just TALK.
2) If you had a totem or spirit animal, which animal would it be?
probably a cat since I’m so drawn to them
3) Do you believe in destiny?
As in "I have a destiny"? Yes. As in "romance"? Sure. As in, "life is a set course"? no. I know that seems like a paradox, but it isn’t really. I believe in free will and the power of choice, but I also believe that every choice we will make is already laid out before us (like a time traveler would be able to see it all). It’s a hard concept to understand, but I do believe in a grand design.
4) If you could invent one thing to make your life easier, what would it be?
Velcro. Oh wait, that’s already been done. … I’d have to go w/ some sort of anti-dust spray. I HATE DUSTING!
5) If you had the choice, where would you be living in five years, and what would you be doing?
DUH! Going to film school in Chicago pursuing my dream of being a film maker!
