Firstly, let me wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and may everyone have a Wonderful New Year ahead!!!

I'd been neglecting my Emo Nemo series for a while (since September actually), but besides the usual busy schedule excuse, it's also mostly because film photography on a simplistic Holga toy camera requires good natural lighting... something ( Read more... )

Thanks! It was raining very heavily when I took that pic, so the photos turned out very grainy. But I think it kinda suits the antique look! :)

Hmm..not v.gd at photography but i guess u were trying to super-impose a pic on another? I love #28 because the floor tiles (they look like they are) brings about an of-the-past feel to the HDB flats behind..and they speak for each other. The other pics turn out confusing, eg.#24,#26,#27. Some looks a little eerie like #20. Hehehe..ok, totally unstudied and un-pro comments :p MErry Xmas!!

Hi Zeph, yeah I was playing with the possiblity of double-images, with varying results.

Because the camera uses plastic lenses, and I only had ISO 100 film, my trick is to super-impose two images on one frame to let the exposures even out and brighten a bit. Otherwise a lot of the pics will turn out very dark. :)

And don't worry about those images, I was basically just snapping away at anything interesting, and sometimes I don't even know what is overlapping each other. So they could mean anything! :)

Very fun! So u won't know the results at that point of time! Interesting..

Exactly! That's the fun part, and although sometimes you might end up with just blank frames, sometimes the results are pleasant surprises. :) Try it too!

Thanks buddy, I'm always on the look-out for locations with such beautifully contrasting colours! If you know of any, tell me about them too! :):)
