I can't stop playing the record that was never ours....it sounds like the aftermath to me. I'm glad I could find something from that time that wasn't swallowed in us.
It's just there is this cd that my ex made me that I can't stop playing. He made me alot of cds. But the weird thing is, because he gave my other friend the burned cd first, it never felt like "ours". Even though he borrowed a line from one of the songs, when he wrote me a song. And we went to a show where that band was playing, it just never felt like "our" cd. All because he gave it to someone else first. Weird. but now when i listen to it, it feels like the end shudder of a building that has fallen down...I'm retarded.
Interesting. It sort of reminds me of "Kiss Me" by Six Pence None the Richer. I dated this woman who liked them and I thought they were okay too. It reminded me of her. Well it never worked out, but the next person I went out with Jaime thought that song was reminscent of us, but honestly I felt it weird since I thought about someone else, besides I always think of the song "All is Full of Love" by Bjork when I think of her, a song 50 times better.
No, it's just that we chat alot on the phone...and then sometimes we wouldn't and then we finally would and I'd say the retared thing of, "I miss you, but I haven't met you yet", .....since we have yet to meet in person
