you send them money and they spray paint your message on the West Bank wall in Palestine. and then they send you 3 photos of it.

i found it in a list of valentine's day gifts on a shopping blog.

nah - i think its fine to feel strange about it. i feel really ambiguous - i think its a great way to make some money from such a fucked up thing as a wall in your backyard pretty much. but i also think its really strange for people to want to have this done. why is it so meaningful to those that buy it? is it like any other wall to them or is it special b/c its made by palestinians, and/or on this wall, and if so why?

I think a lot of it has to do with the message people send in. Seems like a big difference between "this wall is terrorism" and "donna and bobby together forever." I mean, who would really want this as a love memento?
