So exciting! Personally, for those first five hours I'd bring crumb donettes. Man. I can't get enough of those things.

Good luck!

i like the way you think. i wish there was a dunkin donuts here, then i would bring 25 munchkins (all glazed and chocolate - no powdered!)

WOW, so soon! Good luck to you.

I would bring a cut man, like in boxing, someone to stand behind me and rub my shoulders and tell me to go kill 'em. Also, a rhinestone-encrusted pony.

i need someone like that for every day of my life. i feel like i should bring a mini troll doll or something, like one might bring for luck at bingo.

I HS, I had a lucky (rubber) duck that I took to every exam and color guard competition. My friends insisted that it actually brought them BAD luck, so he had to be facing away from them during exams. If I still had him, I would send him to you. :)

thanks for the second congrats... why is our dept the best- because we get to do at homes?

to bring: slippers, almonds or other nuts, an apple, and a hand lotion that smells really really good. also, bertie botts' every flavor beans, an auror, a a vibrator and a set of numchucks.

yes - i would trade 6 essays in 11 hours for 4 essays in 7 days with availability of references very quickly. i know there is a diffferent level of expectations, but i am ok with that.

if i brought a vibe, i dont think i would actually get much work done..... numchucks might come in handy at the orals though!

i would bring something i can play with in my hands. i'm a big fidget-er. so a rubber band or a small beanie toy or something that i could just sort of play with. and in a fantasy world, a mini cheerleader that you could keep on your shoulder to tell you how smart you are whenever you feel stuck.

well, i'll have a laptop in front of me to keep my hands occupied - but i will probably get up and walk around the room a few times to get energy out and not feel so cramped in sitting position.

bring: a picture of your gf or some other relation that's important/inspiring to you... also, bring something that reminds you of your confidence -- during my exams i kept this stellar two-page review of my independent study work that i did with r.o. and i would read it when i felt like i didn't have an intelligent thought anywhere in my body.

on our dept exams: the grass is always greener...

i like the picture idea - i'll have to find a good email or something someone sent me to use to remind me that i can rock. i dont think the grass is always greener on the other side though - truthfully, would you wanted to have done it our way?
