To risk sounding like an "old-timer"... "back when I started using LJ we didn't have all these fancy layouts and additional contact doodads...if we wanted a fancy design, we hadta make it ourselves, dang it! And what's with all the things and stuff?"

LOL. No I know what you mean. I've had my LJ for quite some time and LJ has come a loooooooooong way from when I first started. The things and stuff scare me a bit, too.
