I can't decide if the time for long, introspective blog posts is at an end for me, or if it's just a phase. I vote phase. I've been doing this for eleven years, seven on this platform. It'd be weird to stop, wouldn't it

I vote phase. I've been in a blogging lull for about a year or so, and personally, I think twitter and facebook have a lot to do with it. Lots of the things I used to blog about now go to those other platforms, albeit in bite-sized chunks, and when I sit down to write a long blog post, I tell myself that that time would be better spent getting words in on the WIP ... so the blog suffers. It's actually something I've been meaning to correct, because I love blogging and don't want mine to die, which it will if I never frickin' post to it. Ah, catch-22's, doncha love 'em?
