This entry has been several weeks coming. Every time I try to sit down and write I get overwhelmed with things I want to say.
Several topics, so I will break it up into bite size pices. Pieces. Pices is a fish, though, and fish can also be broken up into bite size pieces. Bite size pices.
Oh man....
Today I missed the bus to work, and walked around in the hot hot heat to catch another. I spent 3 hours of air-conditioned bliss at work. Then Josh picked me up and we went to the Capitol Hill Block Party, where we met up with Cliff, ate, walked around, I visited Matthew(the subject of an upcoming bite size piece), sat around, I left because I felt sick and hot and tired. I caught the bus, bought groceries(and 2 cds), and went home. I moped for a few hours, then Rachel and Scott made an impromptu visit, and we watched Noises Off. I just sent them home because I am tired. Not too tired to write this, apparently.
Drink: My PA from this past school year was at the Mirabeau with Staci and Jordan. Although he is graduated, and no longer a PA, I felt very awkward when my drink was served. Smoke: I tried a cigarette the other night, just to get it out of my system. I liked the way it felt, but hated the taste. And the next day at work, I couldn't stop coughing. Sex: female.
I met Matthew at the Mirabeau room a few months ago. We started chatting on tuesday nights. He is friends with one of my bosses at the SAM. He asked me out on a date. We dated for 2 weeks, at the end of which it was decided that we are ridiculously wrong for one another. Which stinks, because I am ridiculously taken with this funny little man. Oh well. But he is a dear, and we are friends.
I cut my hair yesterday. It's really short. Kinda Annie Lennox.
I need to move away from here. But where??? Ireland, California, Chicago, or NYC? Those are my choices. I have a little bit of time to decide. I will probably stay here 2 more years max, enough time to get some financial stability out of school, and hopefully wrack up some more professional credits.
I haven't started my Spanish homework for the summer yet. I have not read The Glass Menagerie yet. I have not written letters, and I have not hung out with all the people whom I love and miss. I have, however, started working on some poems again.
I ran into Mary and Katie Sutton at the SAM the other day. The day prior to that, I ran into Katherine Bond! Craziness...
