Well, after he was more coherent, he told his friend Brett:
"No, if I were to go like that, I would take someone (psycho Uncle) with me."

So that's good I guess....

So it was accidental, unless he is totally lying so that he doesn't get put in the psychiatric ward. But I think he would take Uncle Aulden out if he was going to kill himself
