Phew!
I got my sound to work again. I had to reinstall the Realtek drivers, and it seems to have done the trick.
Yay, I can listen to music and watch YouTube again! XD
In other news, we got the Crayon Shin-Chan Season 1 box set at Best Buy a couple of days ago. Shin-chan's mom is my new favorite character.

So, the sound on my computer died tonight for no apparent reason.
I was sending a file to a friend, and suddenly it just quit.
I've been poking and prodding it all evening and now it's time for bed...
I think my only solution will be to reinstall the drivers.
I really hate this... any computer techs in the house...?
