My sister, Mary, and her husband, Eddie, are in a Florida hospital, this evening, recovering from surgery. Eddie, a diabetic since childhood, has been on kidney dialysis and the transplant list for some time....and when it became clear that the wait was going to be greater than the odds of getting a new kidney, Mary decided to donate one of her own
