Summary: Hyukjae may finally realize his feelings for his pre-debut friend.

It was November and behind the scene there was a newbie group waiting nervously for their turn. They’ve been practicing for months together to make their dance perfect for their future fans. A group with 12 members has to work really hard for the team work. And we don’t have to mention the years they’ve been practicing alone to be in Super Junior. The older one Park Jungsu, known under his stage name - Leeteuk was walking around the other members and giving them a bottle of water and if they were too nervous he pulls them aside and calms them down. He was just like a mother of all 11 members and they were really thankful to have him.
One of the members was sitting behind the stairs away from Jungsu’s sign. He was squeezing his bottle hard and his eyes were moving around seeing nothing else but darkness. His name was Lee Hyukjae with stage name - Eunhyuk. His hands were shaking and he closed his eyes just for a moment to think how not to disappoint the group and give his best for the fans. He sighs and opens his eyes finding one of the members standing a few centimeters away from him. It was Lee Donghae, his pre-debut friend with whom he was dancing until both of them couldn’t move and on their way to the bus station they were always choosing the longest path just to be able to talk more, to laugh more and to know about each other as much as possible. They often made sleepovers but just one night in the week wasn’t enough for them but because of the distance they were forced to be away from each other.
Donghae reaches his hand to cup Hyukjae’s face in his hands and kisses his forehead.
“Don’t get too nervous or you will mess the things up. Just come and talk with us.” His smile was too sweet to resist and Hyukjae just hugs the other boy shaking like mad. “Hyukkie... Don’t be like that or I’ll become nervous too...” their hug tightens and that was the beginning of the realizing of their real feelings. They were now old enough to be able to think over the things more carefully and this could be the end for one friendship but the start of one love.
