I used to be really into it - Jung and all that - and collected interesting decks and of course gave readings at parties to make friends and influence people and so forth. But I haven't done a reading since I've been to college and the last time I came across my reading deck in a box of random stuff it was missing several cards. Sigh.

Please! Let's drink!

5. Nothing like having no soap and no lock to appreciate a jacuzzi in the bathroom and room service w/ champagne.
6. FUN. Was it Middle/Old/Coptic? I know nothing of hieroglyphics besides the basics (falcon=royalty). I should remedy this someday, but it looks really hard and kind of mathematic.
8. Yeah, I expect a few Chicagoans to share that pleasant experience. In my defense, I was stoned and hungry ;-).

Hah, that happened to me in my Arabic class last summer:

"You mean you're not half-Arab, don't want to work for the government, and aren't trying to fufill a language requirement for your major?"

"Nope, just curious what a modern Semitic language is like"

Of course, when I took a truly weird language, no one bothered to explain why they were there--there was no need. It was a self-selecting pool.
