Yay bidding
I created a cool, albeit not yet elegant, declarative game invitational bid in minor suits. For me, minor game is tricky because of the real possibility that you and your partner can't wrest first (or second, or third) round control because of a lack of knowledge of distribution.
The bid: if support has been met, declarer jumps a suit, and the subsequent response should reveal non-trump distribution thusly:
One suit shift: void or first round control in minor
Two: void or first round control in major
Three: void or first round control in minor and major
Four: void or first round control in two majors
And anything more you should be jumping straight to game or Blackwood!
