As seen yesterday in a cartoon in the Tribune, the best memorial to Regan is the one that's not there.

Okay, I really am too stressed to think coherently. I'm probably going to Milwaukee this weekend.

Hah, that makes no difference to me as I lost my mail key (oops).

I was actually talking about the Berlin Wall. Did you see his funeral today? It's a terrorist's dream (and even Gorbachev showed up!). But in all honesty, I think he was one of our last strong moral presidents, and it's annoying seeing the liberal rags and networks ignoring his accomplishments and focusing on his personal life. You know if Sleazeball died they certainly wouldn't discuss his lovely relationship with Hilary, but rather focus on the one thing he didn't mess up on and make a huge deal about it.

So why is it that you're not so keen on Bush? The war issue?

Not really. I applaud his actions in Afghanistan, although I think he went too far in Iraq. I can't stand his overly Christian moralistic viewpoints. The president has absolutely no control over issues like abortion, gay marriage, school prayer etc. and it's a shame he's wasting his influence on them. I also don't enjoy his "good ol' Southern boy" mentality. People don't respect people that try to act as equals/inferiors.

I don't know how I will vote. Either Bush or a smaller conservative party candidate. John Kerry is nothing more than another Kennedy. He tries even less to appeal to liberals, however. Did you know he wanted a bipartisan ticket with McCain? Talk about a lack of principles.
