The other day I was looking through the blogs of a few of my favorite authors, and I came across a review of a newly released novel on a well-known fantasy publishing site. I agree completely. I will read & enjoy a book with a not happy ending IF and only IF I know ahead of time it's not going to be happy ever after. That way I can put myself into the right frame of mind for reading it. (i.e. Sarah Water's "Affinity"...I was prewarned, so I enjoyed the story)

Hope you're having a great day. You've been very quiet lately, please keep us updated sometimes! (Okay, I have no right to speak since I haven't posted in... four years. I'll have to remedy that.)
Things are going quite well on my side of the world. I'm spending one year in London & I love it.
