I went to the outdoor store today to buy some new boots, my old ones are rotting my feet. I walk to the shoe section and start browsing in the mens hiking boot section. The shoe sales guy comes up to me and asks if I need help. I ask if he has any recommendations for something waterproof that is still breathable. He asks if I want to check out the

Christ what an ass. It was shoe. Would he have reacted that way if it were Tinkerbell in a tutu? Alternately, Doc Marten's and Converse aren't even sold in Women's sizes. While I realize there are implications to you being the person making that statement, he also (seemingly) jumped to a whole other level of conclusions (assumtions) which had zero bearing on him, his job, or a pair of shoes. It's ging to be a strange new world to live in. I am so interested to continue hear the reports from the front.

On a side note, I am waiting to hear about the day you finally have your feet eaten off my fungus from the moon.

Part of it, too, was probably that he was embarrassed with himself for being stupid.
